RE: nothern alliance in afghanistan

Yes, the Northern Alliance has merged into current Government and military and dominate there. For some reason, probably due to hatred, Bush administration left Pashtoons(largest ethnic group in Afghanistan) completely out of the government after fall of taliban. That forced Pashtoons to support taliban and that led to re-emergence of taliban sometime in 2004/2005.
This was one of America's many failures in Afghanistan and that's the reason they keep blaming Pakistan for re-emergence of taliban to cover up their own mistakes.

RE: One Idea How To Fix The Worlds Problems.

But who can argue with Aussies in these matters. They so magnificently controlled aboriginals and confined them to certain parts in their own homeland.
Aussies should be given the task of controlling Muslims all over the world rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Are religious/spiritual people happier?

Religion can only help if you can believe in whatever it teaches, quite hard for any sensible person.

Spiritualism can help a lot. There's heaps of spiritual music out there that works on sad people. Its best if can understand what they are singing. My favorite is Sufi music.

Here's a spiritual song for you to try:

RE: One Idea How To Fix The Worlds Problems.

It is unfair to put all Muslims in one part. Some of them are peaceful, why should they be confined with the violent ones?

RE: Happy Eid

Dude you are posting at the wrong place. This place is full of hateful old geezers who hate everything non-Australian.

RE: Excuse Me

I swear I didn't say anything about Aussie women doh

RE: Excuse Me

I fail to understand why you take offense as it was directed towards Aussie men. And I am speaking from my experience, I have seen so many times foreigner women surrounded by Australian men or boys. I have seen that in University and I have seen that in clubs.

And I didn't say that to imply that Aussie women lack something

RE: Excuse Me

I'm not an Aussie man.

RE: Excuse Me

not sure about aussie girls but aussie men are definitely more interested in non-aussie chiks :)

RE: Which part of female body arouse you most

long legs

RE: should pakistan be made to pay a levy to usa for harbouring bin laden,?

You need an IQ of a chimp to ask that for Pakistan. Why not make America pay a levy for creating Al-Qaeda then Taliban in the first place? and then make the rest of the world suffer due to it?
and how many of us here know what kind of terrorists they are still funding?

RE: I hope this make the broken hearted feel better

Sorry, don't feel better at all :(

How Australians view this kind of relationship

I am only trying to understand the culture or the norm and it may not be anyone's business but the 32 year old man in question is a foreigner so he needs to be a bit thoughtful about the acceptability of such relationships for the girl's family or society in general.

But what I have found from this thread is very encouraging and it has corrected my very wrong perception of such relationships. Although its too late as I already missed 2 chances but at-least now I know better whats right or wrong for future.

And I put the girl's age in my question as 19 just to present a worse case scenario, there are some 22-24 year old women too where i live and I am very hopeful that if I date someone it will be a 22-24 year old.

How Australians view this kind of relationship

Perceptions on issues like this differ from country to country and since I'm in Australia I wanted to know if its normal here.

How Australians view this kind of relationship

There is no lying involved. I will definitely tell my age at a later stage but its difficult to do so at first meeting specially in a club.

How Australians view this kind of relationship

A 32 year old man dating a 19 year old girl. I know legally its OK but I want to know what Australians think of such relationships.

What if the girl doesn't know the man's age and thinks he is younger, is it OK for the man to go ahead with the girl without revealing his age?

RE: Is it ok for a white man to go out with an Indian woman?

Nothing odd with it but it also depends on the place where you are. Here in Australia I don't see white people (of both genders) mixing with Indians or others.
