im sorry hun, i dont think ppl should own animals if they cant take care of them. It happens out here in the country, a week or two ago someone hit my cat and kept goin i found him out in the road when i went to get the mail...but the animals have to stay out of the road i know. I feel for you tho, seein an animal struggle with its last breath hurts.
