Too true a partner should compliment your life.A lot of people think if they had someone then they would be happy but as you said happiness comes from within and if your not happy with yourself then it may work for a while but your only fooling yourself and won't last
Have hunted pheasant and deer in the past but hav'nt been for a few years.My grandparents lived in the country and my grandfather taught me to shoot when I was quite young and bought me my first gun dog.We always ate what we shot.Think of it as a bit like fishing.Same difference except your using a gun instead of a rod.
