An Angels Voice

In this world every lonely man,
looks for a lady to hold his hand.

A woman that is sweet and true,
one that will lift him up when he's feeling blue.

I have searched this world far and wide,
but these feelings for true love I still cann't find.

Today I heard an Angel's voice,
and I knew I had to make a choice.

Could she be the one I searched for so long?
the one I could trust with these feelings so strong.

Her voice was sweet and mild,
that of princess as well as a child.

My heart raced as she whispered my name,
such gentle words a roaring lion she could tame.

Could this be the one I have longed for,
a woman I could love forever more?

I'm not sure how last this will last,
or if these feelings will soon pass.

All I know is how she makes me feel.
I only pray that she is real.

when i was younger i had 12 poems put it a magazine from blue mountain poetry.But it is not the same as when you are writing it for someone special.

i Agree but it is hard to find someone eles who will love someone eles kids like they were theirs to.I should know,because I have 2 of my own8&9 boys.Most women I have meet are like I love kids but only if they are mine.Its a package deal take it or leave it i say.

She would have to be funny,life is to short not to have some fun no matter how old you are.She would have to love me for who I am and not for what I can get her.If she is the right one I will be able to see it in her eyes.

When some think of beauty
They think of a rose
Or maybe a person
With just the right clothes

Yet some define beauty
As what's seen by the eye
And not true beauty
That is found deep inside

For you beauty is not
Just what I can see
