RE: Your life

it would be so sad to think that anyone would want to do anything to ensure that people always remembered one.

i mean if they did or didnt ....ok. why would anyone want to spend their last 5 days wanting to do something to ensure, almost force someone to remember them. thats soooooooo sad.

why would anyone want to perform actions to mold a legacy they want to leave. ....sure if remembered by someone for reasons , then fine
if not then thats fine also. why would u want to do something just to be remembered.?

sure people are entitled to their memories and whats in them, before and after u pass away . why would u want to control that and want them to remember u?

i would do none of the things u mentioned,..

i would spend the time alone, free from soc interactions/ distractions as much as possible. and be glad to be free from what is basically a cruel world and hope the death would be painless. practical stuff would be taken care of re others, n pets etc.
i would chill and ponder re possible next world or infinite bliss of being nomore and have a few pints in the process. this would be done in a pleasing environment to the senses.

in addition to this i know i would just be silently heartbroken for those whose lives may be affected in a bad way,.. via a sense of loss n who may feel sad etc as a result.

i would also feel sad for my dog in case she might miss me. but i would hope that she would be equally or moreso happy with another person .

what would u do.?

RE: Have a look..

RE: Child Benefit being spent on drink and not children disgraceful or not

childrens allowance may be seen as part of overall income anyway that comes in which is spent on child welfare .people may just juggle their money and do the best they can with it. a person may pay a bill on a tuesday to keep the roof over a childs head out of their weekly income and have a drink on a wednsday out of c,a, payment. or vica versa they may pay the bill out of c.a and have a drink out weekly income.dunno

either way, sure the pool of income contributes to kids welfare anyway, and if kids are looked after sure a person is entitled to have a drink any day of the week, month if they can afford it. people just juggle their income around and do the best with it in the knowledge that it goes towards the kids welfare anyway over all.

people are surely entitled to a night out and if they arrange it that way so be it. they could equally arrange it out of weekly payment by putting away a few bob each week (if can manage it)and then having a night out. i suppose to be technically or politically correct they could do it that way and pay the bill out of childrens allowance.

dont see anything wrong with advertising discounts on products on childrens allowance day.bargains are bargains , people can avail of them as they choose whatever the offer. whether the money spent on them is out of weekly income or c,a is just splitting hairs about it.c,a, just like part of the pool of income for that month which goes towards the childrens welfare anyway.

its nice for people who are better of to be able to put c,a, in banks for childs future etc, but most people getting c,a, wouldnt be able to afford that luxury.

thats how i see it as to how people may spend incomes, not technically correct i know. maybe c.a. should be just directly spent on child items and receipts to prove it. lol .perhaps people shouldnt be allowed juggle the incomes around .

i think the issue is just an attempt to give people receiving the c.a. a bad name as if to say that they spend it on alcohol and therefore dont look after their kids.dunno

RE: So 2!!

RE: euthanasia

obviously i know that about the morphine drip. if you read pieces reply where she already mentioned about the morphine you would see that.

people in ireland cant just ask to pass away because of a particular illness and expect to have their wishes met for the following reason.

(a)in ireland it is illegal for a doctor(or anyone)to activelly assist another person to take their life.

however
(b)a person with an illness may request to refuse treatment.a person with an illness may request to have a life machine turned off. THIS IS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ASK ENTIRELY.

this is suitable for people at deaths door and will die as a result.they may have morphine drip as a kind of pallitive care to ease the symptoms etc,.

if you mean by your reply that people dont suffer because of the morphine drip, perhaps your refering to the short period of time that they are on the drip near the end of life.
what about the period before they go on the drip.? the day, week, month, year. years,. dont you realise they may suffer then.? all these people suffer and have suffered with their illness. there are numerous people all over the country in hospitals,at home, on the streets, who suffer daily from numerous illnesses. the majority of these people will not be passing away anytime soon should they refuse treatment. many have a very long time and years ahead of them in regard to various illnesses.neither are they on life machines.
thousands of people have no choice but to live with their illness whether they like it or not. euthanasia is illegal in ireland.

if you work in a hospital yourself and you think that people who are ill are not suffering just because they may refuse treatment at some time or have a life machine turned off,......... then you are away with the birds.
