If you were told tomorrow, that you only had five days to live, so that by Saturday you would be dead, what would you do in those five days?

What different thing would you want to do, that ensured that people always remembered you for how you inspired them, if you managed to do that?

What message would you want to get across in that short space of time. What actions would you take to mould the legacy you would hope to leave. Would you abandon all that and instead just go full throttle on to hedonistic mode?

Well then Salanky, why don't you just pretend this is your last week on earth, and do that, say goodbye to your shyness and identify what you want, and then....ask yourself what do you have to do, to try get what you want

Same principal applies so, if your shyness is blocking you from making a connection with this person, what would you do to change that, if you only had five days left on this earth

Didn't Einstein say the definition of madness is when we do the same thing over and over, and expect a different result.

So if you're saying bite the bullet AGAIN. Then I would ask what would you have to do differently to finally resolve your dilema with this guy.

i wouldnt call it a dilemma as such and dont think it would make a difference if i did it all again in a different way id say it would have the same outcome just hypothetically speaking id like for it to happen differently

Is it possible for you to say to this guy obviously in your own words 'I am asking you now, do you see me in your future in any aspect, I'm not even asking now in what manner you might see me in your future, but I would like to know if you see me anywhere in your future at all'

If he says no, he sees you nowhere in his future, you can close the book, knowing no opportunity has been missed. If he fudges and wont give you a clear answer that says as much as him saying no, again you close the page. Both these options moves you on, if he says he does see you in his future, then........

i know he doesnt see me in his future though thats the thing. i was looking at it hypothetically that if i only had a few days left i wouldnt be in his future anyway so i would just go for it and tell him how i feel but its pointless doing it now cause all that will happen is ill make a fool of myself and he will hate me..

Well Salanky if nothing else you seem to be clear that you wont be in his future, so at least this allows you to close the chapter on him, if that's what's right for you to do in relation to him

it would be so sad to think that anyone would want to do anything to ensure that people always remembered one.

i mean if they did or didnt ....ok. why would anyone want to spend their last 5 days wanting to do something to ensure, almost force someone to remember them. thats soooooooo sad.

why would anyone want to perform actions to mold a legacy they want to leave. ....sure if remembered by someone for reasons , then fine
if not then thats fine also. why would u want to do something just to be remembered.?

sure people are entitled to their memories and whats in them, before and after u pass away . why would u want to control that and want them to remember u?

i would do none of the things u mentioned,..

i would spend the time alone, free from soc interactions/ distractions as much as possible. and be glad to be free from what is basically a cruel world and hope the death would be painless. practical stuff would be taken care of re others, n pets etc.
i would chill and ponder re possible next world or infinite bliss of being nomore and have a few pints in the process. this would be done in a pleasing environment to the senses.

in addition to this i know i would just be silently heartbroken for those whose lives may be affected in a bad way,.. via a sense of loss n who may feel sad etc as a result.

i would also feel sad for my dog in case she might miss me. but i would hope that she would be equally or moreso happy with another person .

what would u do.?

Sorry that you think the world is cruel, it certainly can be......but if you negotiate it right you can eliminate the cruelty almost entirely.handshake

Lillyrose68: What if you had a crystal ball and that ball told you it would take six days to source your opium of choice?
