That sounds like a really good story. I hope to have a memory like that someday.
And yeah.. it's just a shame that when it turns ugly later that it kind of has to ruin it - a memory such as that. But of course you'll always have that day though.
Yes, here it is.. the age-old question, "where are some good places to meet people/other singles?"
Of course many of us know that bar's, clubs, lounges, coffee shops, and libraries have been said to be good places to meet someone, but what I'd like to know is if somebody out there has ever found any other places that had/have worked for them in the past?
I'd also like to hear some stories about:
Past relationships, where did you meet them? Bonus to those with odd-ball meetup stories (example: Dude, I met her at the drive-thru at White Castle!).
Funny coincidences that you may have had (example: I met this amazing girl at the club one night, and then strangely I ran into her at a little antique store the next day!).
Agreed. If the pic catches my eye, I'll read on to see if we share any interests or decide whether or not we may be compatible. From there I might send a short message or flower to say hello and why I messaged them.
I'm honestly only going to look for a little while longer and then I'm going to give up and try to concentrate on something else, like my career and finances.
I give everybody about two weeks before all the conspiracy theorists out there start talking that "Was it really Saddam who was hung, or was it an imposter?" or "The Saddam hanging was all staged - Proof inside!"" stuff.
You become interested in a person (doesn't matter where you're at) and you give them a compliment about how they look while secretly hoping that they will return the kind words.. yet it never happens.
