For the record I am firstly and above everything Irish,my reasons for wanting a United Ireland is for all the people of Ireland,each and everyone no matter what religion,creed or view point you hold to be a part of the same Country,not divided,everyone should prosper equally on this Island.
Most sensible comment on this thread,usually Irish people have differing and dividing views on the subject.One of the most disturbing is the cost to those in the 26 Counys,a feeble and unpatrioctic argument and disturbing from so called Irish people in my view.
The English have no difficulty with a United Ireland,they have signed up to this via the Good Friday Agreement,its totally up to the Irish now.
Great Britian had a veto before the Good Friday Agreement,whether the Irish North/South wanted a United or not Snowy,there has been a ground swell this last week since Great Britain decided to leave the European Community .
The choice now for Northerners is do you want to be in a United Ireland and European or do you want to remain in Great Britain.
Of course it won't be just Northerners who decide on a United Ireland,people in the Republic also have to agree on this and want this,some don't as i am well aware of.
Don't know who you mean while referring to Tossers,i'm just expressing my view that Ireland now has the chance to be free and independent from the not so Great Britain.
I have no problem with anyone leaving Europe,Good bye to all who wish that,the people in Northern Ireland and Scotland didn't vote to leave the European Community,The English did goodbye and Good luck to them.
