Not true, when I find a witty mail , someoene willing to show a pic & meet up without mailing a new volume of war & peace, am happy, then its down to the old "chemistry" 
Have to say the loneliest time of my life was when I was married, if we dont learn from bad relationships, then all relationships in the future are going to be crap too , tarnishing everyone , male or female, with the same brush doesnt help either, most people learn from life experiences & move on, jmo ....
Maybe we could re-enact it , just for research purposes of course
