Last night I couldn't sleep thinking of my dearest friend, she is passing through a lot of pain because somebody really close to her is really sick, and she feels so powerless about the fact that her friend may die. Within my thoughts I remember several things that i would like to share with you because I think that dead is something we could experience at any moment. But is it hard for the one who knows is going to die or for the rest of us who know that we are going to lose somebody we love? I remember when i was child I was a Boy Scout, and we use to sing this song in the last camp fire (I did the translation, as usual I try to keep the meaning of the words more than the rythm): Goodbye Song

In those days I couldn't understand the power of this song, and it's relation with dead. Now after feeling my dearest friend's pain I try to see this song as a hope song. We are going to be together again someday. Then I also remember the last scene of GLADIATOR when the best friend of MAXIMUS says: "We'll see again my friend, but not yet." I think that the hope of being together again should give us strenght to endure the pain. At last I remember a book of Isabel Allende (chilean author) called PAULA which started as letter for her daughter who was in a comatose state. It tells a whole year of the author's life while she was taking care of her daughter, after that year the author realized that she has to let her daughter go in peace to rest, so they can see each other again later. Let go people we love is the hardest thing to do, but at the same time is the most healing experience for the rest of us who stay in this world waiting for our time to go. i see every single lady on CS, and every and each one of them is gorgeous, with a huge heart, and beautiful feelings. Yet, they are still here wondering for their true love. It's kinda odd to me.
