Those are great "Tourists" places. Please be aware of your surroundings while out and about on the tourist trails. As far as Outlets are concerned, you would have to get a "Tour Bus Ride" to "Woodbury Commons" the shopping outlet, but it is really not that cheap - considering the time and transportation costs involved. Stick to Macy's (and many other stores) on 34th Street in Manhattan.
Yes, the statement "is" a generalization, however, the shoe does (often) indeed fit.
Seriously, the next time you (men) are out with a woman -- pay special attention to the expressions on her face. You will then know exactly how often you ("men") make blue comments, statements, suggestions, and/or references in the course of a 1 hour conversation. It is really ridiculous. Especially, those of you over 40 -- who are still acting like a pubescent adolescent who just discovered your "tool" can be used for more than just peeing through.
When I started this thread Last Month, I hoped some of you would enter some impromptu places where I know some of you go. However, it seem that all of you (members of the site) are true couch/computer potatoes. As such, Let me see if I can get this going.
On Saturdays, the Copacabana has functions for us "Grown Folks". When I receive the next invite I will post a link.
Perhaps some of you out there in CyberSpace (I know y'all are out there, my screen keeps fogging up from your breathing), would like the venue and agree to drop by. Better yet, some of you could stop by this thread and make suggestions like:
Yo! My brothers Vinny, Eddie, Mikey, Jerome and I will be out at _____________ on Friday. They are having "Ladies Night" Ladies Drink Free between 6 and 7 PM. Hope to see some of you there.
Then, some you breathers would reply:
Yeah DUDE, "Terribly Silly and Shy Here", I will get my girls Mable, Bruhilda and Portia, Nae, Nae and Shaniqua together and we will stop by around 6:30. See you there. Just so you will know us, we will all wear Blue Suede Shoes!
Get the Drift. Dang! Very Tough Audience.
What do you say folks? Have all of you really given up? Are you really content sitting in front of the computer listening to love songs and waiting for your perfect match to answer your profile ad? Don't misunderstand me, that might happen, but in the interim, are you content being a hermit? Gaining weight in front of the "Tube/LCD/Flat-Screen" or whatever. Prefer to sit at home Srinking Alone and become more depressed? I do not want to believe that. Tell me it ain't so Yorick.
If it is,that is really sad. Look at this as an opportunity to meet the people that we e-mail on this site, in a safe atmosphere. Worst comes to worst, you've gotten out of the house, and allowed your seat (chair/couch) to air out!
These are party icons! They represent the folks out at the Meat Locker Bars on the Weekends!
You see:
is Barfing after trying to drink all of the liquor at the party. They simply do not know their limit. We all know this guy/gal.
This (guy/gal) is that loud mouth that gets drunk and becomes a pest to all the single good looking women/men who turn him down --not because of the few extra pounds, or breath that would singe a burnt building, but because he/she is JUST LOUD! He (or She) is one of those people that MUST BE SEEN.
These guys represent you and I, sitting here talking about them. LOL, LOL, LOL.
Lets review. This is a Site on which to Connect with other Singles, hence the name (Connecting Singles --DUH!) So, what is the problem?
Why am I not reading of up coming parties, gatherings or poetry reading. Why are we not setting up safe social affairs?
To get things stated, I propose those of us in the New York City Area, suggest a neutral place, such as B.B. Kings, Juno's Dallas BBQ's, Coogan's (1 or 2)etc. to have a "Hi My Name Is" gathering. This does not have to be a formal event. We could sign in here stating we will show up at the agreed upon place and if we chose to stay in the background and not introduce ourselves to one another, so be it. At least we will have gotten out of the house, away from the computer and into "the real world".
The weather is changing people. Do not let this be another year you are alone. As you can see, I am a straight forward person and I for one will not be sitting on the sidelines watching life pass me by, thinking If I Would have, Should have or Could Have (thank you Lou Rawls). What do you say people? Shall we make a go of this?
Don't know what happened that night (Feb 23) but I do know that next week, March 23, 2007, there will be a mean party at The Copacabana. I believe the tickets are $30.00. Check the new website for details. I hope to see some of you there. I will be the Lady with THE MEAN WALK (or so I am told)! Trust me, you will know me when you see me glide across the floor.
If you like Jazz and Live Music, may I suggest a few Manhattan (NYC) hot spots.

Note: I am a member and not part of the staff of this site. Nor am I an employee or other wise connected to either establishement listed above. Further, I am not vouching for either establishement in terms of safety. Use your head and be always keep safety in mind. That said, I have "lounged" at both establishements and I have had nothing but a great time and met wonderful and respectful people.
What? I am afraid I do not understand what the heck you are trying to say here, and if this is any indication, he may not know what you are talking about either. Take your time and reformulate your question. You may then receive some viable responses.
RE: this for women. does the size really matter?
_____________________________________________________She knew what she was talking about! LOL!
You see, the Circumference doesn't matter if it is only Long Enough to Clear the Bush --- But Not Reach The Fire! LOL!
