Hello New Friends.....

Hello again to my new buddies,

Just wanted to let ya know, of our next get together. We will be meeting at Slick Willie's at 4000 W. Reno, between Portland and Meridian. Our pool party meeting, will be Saturday, June 16th at 6:00p.m. Just ask the person at the front, for me, Debbie, and they will point you in our direction. Of course, we will be the people having all the FUN.... Do me a fav, and let me know, by posting on this thread, if you plan on coming. Hopefully, we can get a discounted rate, if alot of people show. Hope to see you there!!!!!

Hello all you new people....thanks for stopping in, to say "Howdy"....

If anyone is interested in meeting people in a "no pressure", "no expectations" group atmosphere, keep your eyes, on this forum. I've organized a "Get Together" on another site, and looks like we want to make it a monthly thing. So, if you feel you could use a friend or two...you need to join us. Will be posting details, as to where, and when, in this thread.

Alright...here's what we came up with....Getting a group of people who are interested in meeting new people together Saturday, May the 5th. We are meeting at Henry Hudson's at 400 W I240 at 5:00p.m. If interested in going, drop me a line, or post it here...need to know how many of us to expect so we can accomodate all. Sorry I haven't been around much lately...have had my hands full, organizing a get together on another site. But figured I would let you all know the details, so we could all get together at the same time, if any interested here.

No definate time, or location, but I think our "to do" will be May 5. Need to get an idea of how many would be showing, to come up with a location. SOOOOOO, if any of my new friends on this site, are interested in meeting people in a group setting, drop me a line, and will pass along any info I come up with.

Hi all,

I have learned a valuable lesson about tattooing a name on your body. Doesn't WASH off, when the relationship is over ...I mean I KNEW that, but guess I was young...and in love. Thankfully, it is really really small, and can be covered, very easily. Most don't even notice it, unless I point it out. My first tattoo, (my "middle aged crazy", as I call it) is on the back of my neck and covered by my hair. Is seen mostly in the summer months, when hair is pulled up. I would probably have alot more, if had alot of extra money. They are somewhat "addictive"

Will do what I can, to save you from taking a trip to an OK map and let cha know, whereabouts is Bethany. We are a small city, attached to Ok city and only divided by a street. Warr Acres is "thrown" in the mix as well. Easiest way to put it is...NW OKC...Between NW 39th and NW Expressway....from MacAuthor to Council. I could be more technical, but that would involve ME, taking a trip, to the OKC map....

Nice to hear from you....I do think a group meeting is possible, and agree, would be "down the road" a ways. My thoughts are to set up a forum, seeing who might be interested, and sending out some messages to members, to check out that thread. I mean, for the most part, we are all here, for the same purpose, right?

Hopefully, slowly but surely, this local forum will catch on. Will keep fingers crossed....

Hi to all my new friends and thanks for taking the time to introduce yourself.

Hopefully, at some point, we CAN plan an informal get-together and meet in person. I'm "all about" making new friends and there HASN'T been a whole slew of people, knocking at my door, wanting to meet.

I'll keep my eye, on what's going on in the forums, to see how everyone is doing. I may just have to add my two cents worth, from time to time.....

The name's Debbie and I'm new here. I'm slowly but surely "learning the ropes" of being single (at my age)...being online, (am totally lost most of the time... ) and making new friends.

Although I do appreciate the "net", for the link to the outside world, am a little dismayed at the lack of events or get-together's, that are available to me, as a single person. Am I just not looking in the right places?
