What a load of rubbish Pedro.Who went around and asked each individual if they believed or not? Just becaise a country had a tradition of belief years ago,it doesnt mean they still do. The older spaniard is, but the masses have changed direction. You can see that just by how many churches have a handful in them.
I am sorry to hear things didnt work out. One thing i would say,and its only my opinion, is that if you have left the door open for him, its up to him to be man enough to step through it.You can do no more. If i truly wanted to be with someone, there is not one person who would dare try and stop me.
I have to say,as a non believer, and i dont agree with anything you say, because i am a non believer, you are conducting yourself very well, with humour and without being rude considering it is such a difflecult subject.
It does doesnt it. I suppose one could argue about defending ones country, hence a large military budget, but exploring little bits of space? Maybe in the future, but at the present time when the world is feeling the pinch? I dont know
The problem is ooby, when something bad happens, religious people always find an excuse,so god doesnt have to take responsibility. However, every time something good happens, that is down to god! Its called "a cop out".
I watched a programme on Space exploration last night. The cost of the US space station over the last 10yrs is 160 billion dollars. This doesnt include the cost of NASA,or anything else associated wiht it.Then of course there is the European Space programme, which obviously will run into the billions. Do you think that the goverments involved can justify spending this kind of money on space projects, when within there own countries, and indeed the the planet earth, there are severe problems?
