I'm making a lot of assumptions here, so sorry if I'm way off.. you seem like a well educated hi earner or even possibly early retired, private income, or possibly could get a decent job there! So surely in that position your income in the new environment will be relative to the cost of living and put you in a higher life standard situation? Surely if you've met someone and have developed a relationship, you accepted her (or him) the way they were and for what they were and their environmental surroundings? I don't see a problem. Go for it.

personally I'd like to see natural photos then at least what you see is what you meet up with. I always shy away from the perfect china doll pics that I see because when you meet them, they are completely different...As Dandelion said above................ can you do me a (H)air brush??
