I wanted to write a poem of love, but I had no inspiration,
I wanted to write a poem of beauty, but you evaded me,
I wanted to write about my life, but it was not to be,
So I decided to write only words, about my dreams.

Words don’t come easy to me, as I fumble to express,
Words don’t always say, what I really mean to say,
Words don’t portray my feelings, as they are meant,
So I decided to think of words, that were in my heart.

My heart is always full of love, which is only for you,
My dreams are of you , only within my vacant mind,
My words are meaningless, without you at my side,
So I spend yet another endless lonely loveless night.
