In answer to your questions:

1. No, we don't have more fun. Hair color doesn't determine how much fun you have, only your heart & spirit do that.

2. Yes, some people do fall victim to that "old cliche", but, happily, not everyone.


Being a natural blonde, I'll give you my personal point of view:

IMHO: Go with the beautiful hair color you were given when you came into this world.

Which ever you decide, you're a lovely lady!
