Yup..It takes time. I have seen people get over relationships right away and it made me wonder of they really cared in the first place.

The good news is that after awhile the rejection doesn't hurt as much. You get so used to getting stomped on that it becomes almost second-nature to you.

I could quote more aphorisms, but you get the idea. Nothing is more subtly flattering than the inability to get over someone. If this person is aware of it, its just a bit boost to their ego, regardless of what is said. If they're not aware, than it just becomes an impediment to your own growth.
I refuse to give anyone that sense of satisfaction. Even God. Yes, I've had my heart broken. No, I've not let it get to me. Why?
Because then, the other person has won.
