For some Marines, mail call was a moment of disparity. I’m an ex Marine (Paris Island). While in boot camp, I got to see first hand at some of the reactions of my buddies as many of them lost there love ones. Mind you, this was only in boot camp. Then you had those that were sent overseas. Many of them had to wait at least six months or more before they were able to get back home and see there love ones. After a week or two, they would leave again. This sort of reminds me of one of those long distance relationships. Some last and others don’t. A Serviceman or not, it’s very difficult to remain in love with someone that is not there on a regular basis. Hey lonely Marine, Semper Fidelis and let no one, absolutely no one tread on you.
Love to me means having a sense of security and being free. So when I share my love with someone else, the sense of security and freedom becomes more intense.
Is this like a real love match on CS? I hope so. They sure look like they can make an awesome couple. Well, if it is, I wish them both the best of luck.
I'm special in many ways. I think we all are. Then again, I have to be open for acceptance. It takes a special person to know a special person. I have no idea who she is. When that time comes, I will let her catch my heart.
I’m still somewhat new to this site. From the looks of this thread , it’s obvious that most of you have found some very interesting friends and acquaintances. Something to look forward too.
I agree. But, I think what concerned Aircon is the fact that this woman had two very young daughters. I can see where there could be room for some sort of discomfort based on a negative correlation. Perhaps Aircon would have thought differently if she did not have two daughters. Why be put in a situation where one has to draw caution in the first place.
