It was a spur of the moment thing for me - I have heard the live in spain is much better than the uk ... it remains to be seen.. I dont speak spanish so it will depend on how easy it is to find work in spain without it ....

Hi Jan and thanks very much for the info. I am heading for Hondon Valley so not so far from you. I hope to purchase property in and around the Alicante to Murcia areas. To be honest I dont normaly use the term ex pats but so many people refer them them by that name - hence the use of it on here but I do take your point on board. I intend to learn spanish when i arrive and understand that there is a free 3 month course for british people wanting to live in spain - and unfortunately i will still have to work so where i live will dependant upon the job I can secure :-(

Hi, my name is Tina nad I have just joined the site - today. I am about to head off to live in spain (costa blanca) and have joined the site to make new friends who have already made that move and hopefully find a spacial person to spend my life with there.
