RE: Is the world imperfect in the eyes of God?

Which God??

RE: In Honour of David Bowie. R.I.P. Pick your favourite song of his.

Space Oddity!!!!

R.I.P.

RE: Is the Internet making people less likely to find a partner?

Im my opinion
Once I'm attacked, the time for tact has passed.
I dont play that game.

RE: Is the Internet making people less likely to find a partner?

Whereas....its done wonders for you...
LMAO

RE: Is the Internet making people less likely to find a partner?

That is YOUR opinion! I do not agree.

Anybody that comes at me will not find a passive response, ever.

Have a nice day in your lil world.

RE: Is the Internet making people less likely to find a partner?

I was merely responding to an A##hat that decided it was ok to attack me from the safety of his keyboard....

That DESERVES a name!

RE: Is the Internet making people less likely to find a partner?

Ohhh & re: individs vs. forum
These sites make it easier for the individs of the 3 categories I mentioned....so even tho its people behind it....gotta say these sites have to assume some of the blame.

RE: Is the Internet making people less likely to find a partner?

I totally agree that its the individuals not the forum...did not mean to imply otherwise.

Just giving my opinion based on my history online. YMMV

I have tried various sites, same/same across the board. I do know that once April arrives...Im going on the road. I believe I will have better odds in person and increasing the number of actual persons that I meet will be much more beneficial than these sites have been.

RE: Is the Internet making people less likely to find a partner?

Personally....
I believe online dating sites are responsible for destroying a lot of relationships.
In addition, my experience is that the majority of the profiles that exist fall into 3 categories...

1. Tire Kickers-just window shopping.

2. Trading Up-currently in a relationship & looking discreetly...

3. SCAMMERS

Its damned annoying to to weed through & results in many profiles being erased or abandoned.

RE: Am I handsome?

Dont appeal to me at all.

RE: New Year's Resolutions: Which one would you most like to do?

@Ccincy....nice!
I made a resolution at age 18 to never make another one. Ive kept it.
(The one i made at 17 got me in the military).
Happy Heineken!

RE: The Affluenza Teen

Personally....I'd luv to see Public Stoning brought back. JMHO

RE: bald guys

You have to embrace it. I like to use humour a lot.
There are many great lines about being bald....eg., 'God only covered what He was ashamed of' comes to mind.
Another i like is that I say, 'I actually have a full head of hair but due to High Speed Turns against the headboard....

Enjoy yourself...its contagious.

RE: CS get together - April

Yet another Public School success story!!!!

RE: Fight terrorism with terror???

We have the wherewithal to turn the Middle East into one large sheet of glass....and the capability to drill through glass!

Seems to me that approach solves many issues.

Which State should I visit first?

Len,
New Orleans is a wonderful place, loads of history and the food is unbelieveable. I am leaning towards LA as my first stop but likely will be North of New Orleans. Prob east of Shreveport somewhere.

I have spent some time in NYC, nasty place in my view and it holds no allure for me. I do intend to see more of the State though.

I dont know much about Oklahoma or Arkansas and I am hoping to gain better insight on them from members.

Which State should I visit first?

Arkansas isnt getting much love...

@Greek Chris....doesnt deserve a response...just a boy loving Greek.

As for Sturgis...I have been there a few times. First time I was only 14, rode w my father & his buddies-(all bike racers). It has Really gone downhill. But the Black Hills are Gorgeous. I got stopped by a herd of Buffalo in Custer Park...was very surreal as i was surrounded by them as they crossed the highway. I couldnt move till they departed...were close enough to touch.

Oh and Im riding a GoldWing.

Which State should I visit first?

Good info on Fla, thanks. I hadnt thought about which side of the State...bridge is one that goes out to the Keys...

As for NYC, been there. No desire to ever see a subway let alone ride one...urban areas-I will by bypass.

I am a member of AAA...i use lots of sources to determine routes. I have several apps and also Natl Parks books and an Adventure Atlas. It never hurts to hear from others who have the actual experience and typically i get great routes from word of mouth.

Thanks for the info....keep em coming!

Which State should I visit first?

I have run most of the West Coast. Im planning on hitting the East Coast this coming year. Theres a bridge outta Fla that I heard is interesting & I def wanna do the Dragons Tail & Laconia.
Urban sites hold No interest for me. Nature is my favorite backdrop. Im planning on wintering next year in Arizona...the next in Alaska. I have a daughter & son in law in Alaska that have a room waiting on me.
I hope to explore the East coast up into Maine but that may not get completed the first whack at it.
Atlantic City....while I appreciate the recommendation...I used to go to Las Vegas every year for business and I have lived in large cities in my past...I have no plans to spend anytime other than passing thru/by any areas that have large populations...lil towns & Countrysides, Thats what I luv.

Which State should I visit first?

So far Oklahoma is not faring well...
I luv cajun food and any Southern accented female can melt me with just a few words.
Im prob gonna lean towards State Parks & Natl Forests for campsites. Im not a fan of huge RV parks. I def enjoy nature & prefer to stay away from large populations. Humanity leaves me wanting.

But so far two persons have stood up for their home State. Thats nice that people are happy where they are. I set up my new tent yesterday and sealed seams, packed it away today. Trailer is ready except for a few small items Im still waiting on. But i cant wait till April!!!

RE: Many say "Read the Quran" well, here are some verses

Personally im agnostic but have no issue w people of Faith as long as they dont try and push it down my throat. But i have No Respect for followers of Baby Rapers and terrorists.
JMHO (I studied Eastern Religions in College).

Reality is that it Will Be Muslims vs. The Rest of Us....just a matter of time. I hold out hope for the USA in spite of Barry Bin Lyings agenda because of the Civilian Firearms. Bring em on!!!!!

profile pics w kids

Maybe I'm hyper sensitive having raised 3 daughters and retired from Soc. Work....

profile pics w kids

Sooooooo that makes it ok?...

profile pics w kids

Damn auto correct crap...word was sposed to be intentionally & got changed somehow....

Sorry.

profile pics w kids

I can't believe women on here are posting pics of their children on here....too many predators online and I believe it shouldnt be allowed on dating sites.

Gotta wonder if some of these are remunerating placing these children in harms way....

Sad.

Traveling Man

I'm divorced over 5 yrs. My daughters are all doing well in their adult lives. I put most of my belongings in storage up North and came to Texas searching for HER.
Been here bout a year now...time to move on. I'm not sure where Home is for me anymore but I feel that finding my life partner is more important at this point in life.
I'm loading a trailer w camping gear and am heading out this March on my motorcycle. I figure I can move around the country and at least see some interesting places while I'm looking. Who knows I may even find the woman I want in my life. We will see.
Any women who enjoy motorcycles and camping please feel free to give me a shout. Id be tickled to meet and maybe you know good cruising routes and/or campsites I should explore.
