This is how the pay dating sites gets so many people! On here, you can just sit back and watch the world float by and never make a move. On a pay site, it forces you to get motivated. You'll check out those emails, by God, because you paid for them! Also, you can't just sit around on a snipe hunt! You paid to date people, so you've only got so long or your time runs out and with it goes your money. That's the problem here, no motivation. After a while, you pretty much know who's real and who's not. If someone is not willing to Skype or Viber or what ever video system you use or if they refuse to meet in person, then you know 99 out 100 times, they are a scammer! Ladies, if you followed the news last week and saw the lady that was duped out of $300,000.00 by the Nigerian scam artist who told her he was working on a Scottish oil rig. First off, there are NO oil rigs in Scotland! Second, he "couldn't" be seen because of the area he was in! Third, he needed Money for equipment and other supplies that he couldn't get too. If he couldn't get to his original supplies, why would he need money for further materials?! This is a cautionary tale for everyone. However, this goes to illustrate why pay sites motivate people more. Scammers get through but not nearly as much as on here. The Nigerian scammer I just described? He was on Christianmingle,com!
Actually, I don't get it and after I find out what it's like, I probably would not have wanted it in the first place! If I sit down and take the time to write you a nice, well thought out email, why do I not deserve an answer? If you don't want to answer after you say "no thanks", fine. Women question everything: why didn't you write, why didn't you call back, why didn't you come by, why don't you like spending time with me, why did you break up with me and on and on! But God forbid if a lowly man wants to ask a question or wants a reason from a woman, then it's a complete turn around! I think men deserve at least a "no thanks", if nothing else!

Now, as for my 2014 resolution. I thought it over (briefly), and I decided my resolution is to have NO resolution! I've had many resolutions over the years, such as: gain weight, lose weight, grow a beard, shave my beard, buy the newest electronic gadget, don't run out and buy the newest electronic gadget, and so and so on! Everyone has these dilemmas, not only to start the year, but all through the year many times over! So I figured, why stress about a resolution? Why not just let come what may? If I need to lose or gain or buy or sell or or or....... I will, eventually. HNY 2014
