Well i think there's little to expect from free dating sites in general. Many girls here have fake profiles or are here just to shop for a rich guy or for the next Brad Pitt. So if you'r not rich and not Brad Pitt and unless you are isolated with little to no chance of meeting people,I would not recommend any free dating site.
Me too, I've spend quite some times doing advanced searches, reading profiles and writing them only to never get a response, and like you I'm a normal guy with normal intentions so I see no reason I shouldn't get responses. I think dating sites are really a waste of time for us men and i think we are better off going out in the real world, on other forums or, why not, on online video games.
