I believe that they and the Lemurians the other name that people from Atlantis are known existed. There has been various books and theories about where they lived. As mentioned by various posters Plato had mentioned it. One wonders if any of the survivors fled to another planet?.

Ashes to ashes on bbc1 is good sadly the current series ended last night. Also Dexter which is on utv on wednesday nights and then repeated on Monday nights is good also South Park is still as class as ever as is The Unit on Channel 6 and also Fraiser and Seinfeld which you can catch every weeknight.
A movie you must see is It's a matter of life and death. It may be 62 years old but it is an amazing movie. Part fantasy part science fiction and part romance its a must see. Its one of if not David Niven's best movie and it's in colour to. The special effects are amazing and at times you find yourself thinking I can't believe that this was made in 1946.
