I can not wait to see Twilight. Dropping my daughter off to her dad early on Friday due to Christmas, so going to take the opportunity to head to Chadstone and watch it. I'm just in the middle of listening to book 3 on my Ipod and am really enjoying it, so think I will really like the movie.
I think its possible, but you have to meet to make sure that the spark is still there when you are face to face. My ex met his new partner that way, but I'm still waiting.
Its really hard to meet people in everyday life. You can't go up to a stranger in the street and say "hi are you single?" Well maybe some of you can, but I can't.
I've been out with a few asian guys. 3 Japanese and 1 Indian. Only one of them turned out to be significant, but that had nothing to do with nationality. I've lived in Japan, so I've seen a lot of caucasion women with Asian guys. Seen it a fair bit here to though. I wouldn't have thought it was massively unusual.
Big time with you on this. You can not draw any conclusion about the attractiveness of someone based on the evidence given. Maybe the guys she showed the photo to have a phobia about red hair and hers is flaming. There is no way of knowing without interviewing the men in question. And besides all that, what is ugly anyway? I can always find something attractive about a person. Its really easy actually. The only "ugly" people are those with nasty personalities.
Beauty is definately in the eye of the beholder. If you put your photo on your profile, no one who doesn't like it is going to contact you and you wont feel the rejection that causes. On the other hand, there will be guys that are attracted to you that wont have bothered to contact you because a lack of photo puts a lot of people off.
Age makes no difference in a relationship. If its meant to be, then it is. Since my marraige breakup I have been with a 22 year old and a 47 year old (and some in between). My current "interest" is 25. We are having a great time getting to know each other and the age difference has never been an issue for either of us. (I'm 40 next month) If you click, go for it.
Its bloody freezing here too tonight. I've had the heater going all night and my hands are still struggling to type as they are like blocks of ice. (especially the right one for some reason)
I go to the rate photos tab. You don't see the profiles, just the photos. Its kind of addictive. I rarely give a 10, (but enjoy receiving them! ) and I only give below a 6 if the photo is not of the person.
True, I'm getting really good at Flip Words, and I just discovered a new game on my hand held called Bubble breaker. Have to practice that one, I'm crap so far.
Don't give up. A laugh is what this site is all about. I'm not expecting to actually meet a life partner, or even anybody local, I just check in to see what people are saying. Its often funny enough to cheer me up from a dark mood.
