I would chose friends.

We can be ourselves with friends. Not always true with family.

Neighbors . .

Do neighbors ever think that they are helping - when in fact they are not?

Years ago I bought a Weeping Cherry Tree and planted it in a half whiskey barrel (Knew I was moving and would want to take it with).

A few weeks later the tree was dying. I was flummoxed. Its not that easy to kill a tree. And not so quickly.

Turns out three different neighbors had all been watering it - plus me! We drown the poor thing.

Just now - my neighbor came in carrying a black cat and said "Look who I found!" My black cat has been missing for 5 weeks.

The dogs were watching her intently.

When I said "That's not my cat." the cat hissed and reared up. The dogs went insane. The neighbor had to run to the door avoiding flying claws and dogs.

I am also making small family history books for everyone. We recently connected with a cousin who knows no family history whatsoever . . didn't even know he had a uncle or an aunt.

I'm making several pair of booties, an appliqué pillow and a cat bed (not sure if I will add embroidery or applique') as gifts for my family.

Sorry its Chuzzle - a PopCap game where you line up these fuzzy faces with eyes and when you get three or more in a row they blow up.

Kinda like Tetris with faces and lil voices.

It doesn't happen often, but like right now my schedule is messed up -
I do lots of stuff. Treat it like I would free time in the day.

Check mail, Check CS for interesting forums, play Chuggle on the computer as I listen to an audio book.

Take the dogs out . .

Unfortunately, many of the flock in a church are there for all the wrong reasons.

Perhaps they grew up in that church. Or they were lonely so they joined a church. Or they had a friend bring them to the church.

A huge bunch of them do not FEEL the words. They hear them, but that is all.

Personally, when a person introduces themselves to me and the first sentence is "I'm a Christian." I back off. If you have to tell me - ??

Some of the most ruthless people have used that line . .

If you are a true Christian - you shouldn't have to tell anyone. It should be reflected in your manner and actions.
