No Leo, we also are kind when we share chocolates on Easter time, when we offer a gift for Valentine's day, when we hug or just wish each other an Happy New Year during all January month.... It means more than once in a year...

I like to think i'm compassionate all year round. After all if your homeless at christmas and found shelter come boxing day your back on the street. So sad many people don't realise that they could be only a few steps away from being homeless them self .
I try to live in a "pay it forward" ideology all year round. In these days, one cannot rely on the old ideas of kindness to be there when things are rough. We have to make an aggressive choice to be bigger than the sorrows around us, stronger than the cruel & selfish... & kinder at heart, regardless of the opposition. Bottom line, don't wait until a holiday to show a little kindness.
