RE: The Beautiful Game, But Not In America

Its hard to find people past high school or college age in this country that play um... soccer. I love American footbal. I'm a crazy football fanatic. I just can't get into soccer, no matter how hard I try.

I have been a Manchester United semi-fan for a while, but the only reason I knew of their existence was because of Becks. I used to be head over heels for the man! Ahaha! Once he came here to play soccer... he lost that mystique. I don't know what it is. Soccer is just never going to be popular here, no matter who they get or how much they pay them. Sad, but true.

Hey, we don't play cricket either. laugh

I mean seriously?! As detailed as it is, it takes what, thirty seconds to a minute to read my profile? I just can't figure it out.

My profile is very detailed. I wrote it in plain King's English. The information is current and accurate, I invite you to see for yourself.

So why do I still get these questions:

What are you studying/going to college for?

You look like you work out, do you?

What are some things you like to do?

Do you travel?

I ALREADY TOLD YOU.

What this tells me is that there is no genuine interest. It tells me that the initial physical attraction is so shallow and impulsive that the person writing me can't even take time to read my damn profile even through its shown again JUST TO THE RIGHT of the damn text box that they're typing the message IN! Are you kidding me?

That ends my rant this week.

Excellent point to carry with me today.

Picture Pickers & The Toddler Response

Ooooooo... I'm telllllinnnnn...

Free time is always more fun when there's more than one. All kind of trouble to get into when there's at least two.

I am so bad about that, apologies!

Picture Pickers & The Toddler Response

Free time is okay as long as you don't use it to get in trouble. innocent

Picture Pickers & The Toddler Response

Yeah, I was referring to it being guys who send me flowers and messages. Not any of the guys who vote through the general system.

Picture Pickers & The Toddler Response

Yeah, if you look at the voting breakdown under each photo, there is an "Average vote" column associated with the gender and age of the voter. Combine that with who's been to your page and viola! You can figure out who's taking the time out of their day to drop your average.

Some people have too much free time.

I know, its totally devastating.

If you look at the section below each photo, theres a age and gender breakdown of your votes. Mine tend to typically fall is the same few categories. So I put two and two together by noticing the gender vote, age vote and looking at my "Who's Viewed Me" gallery and each time figured out who it was that did it very quickly.

Yeah, "the kids". They don't bother me, its just so silly for a guy to think that sitting there and taking the time out to go through each of my photos to vote them a 1 is getting back at me for not 'liking' them. Its comical.

Picture Pickers & The Toddler Response

I'm okay with the picture ratings I receive. I've always, like most people, felt that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You may not find me attractive in one outfit but might find me appealing in another. I do not place any measure of importance on the number of votes I receive or their rating. I just think its a fun, cute way of brightening up someone's day. For example, I always vote ten on pictures with children or pets or big happy smiles, who wouldn't? Thats what life is about.

So why is it that when a guy sends me a message or a flower and I don't respond quickly enough or chose not to respond at all, he comes to my page and votes a 1 on all of my photos? This has happened about 4 times now and I know who they are. It doesn't take a math or statistics whiz to figure it out.

Come on. scold

What are these guys, two? That response is on the intellectual level of a toddler. Its pretty infantile.

Use the picture rating system to brighten someone's day, not to wage attack for being ignored or not receiving the response you desired from them.

That's enough for my rant-tations today.
