Facing the same problem too over here and I thought it was only me

I listen to music all day long, very loudly at that too and my two teenage kids, especially my daughter can't stand me!! She'd politely asked me to turn down the volume!

Not sure if you remember 'Aishah & The Fan Club'?

Both my maternal uncle and aunt were studying in ChCh and met her somewhere in NZ while holidaying during their semester break. She was pretty excited to bump into other fellow Malaysians and according to my uncle, she was very bubbly and talked non-stop!!

I recently had a meet-up with one of our fellow bloggers, Kalpataru in Kuala Lumpur and she brought me not one but two yummy cheesecakes all the way from Indonesia!!!

Can a gal get any luckier than this?

I met someone here on CS and after a few messages, we decided to meet over a cuppa at Starbucks.

After getting our coffee, we chose the coziest corner. I walked ahead of him and chose the seat that was facing the entrance. Saw him quickly walked to my side and thinking that he wanted that seat, I walked to the opposite side of the table. I then looked up and saw him holding out the chair for me at the other side!!!!

I went, 'Oh!' and profusely. Awkwardly, I told him that was my first time that someone ( minus the waiters in fancy restaurants ) had ever pulled a chair out for me in my entire 42 years of life!

Guess he didn't deem my lack of 'worldliness' a problem coz we went on to have many more interesting dates subsequently

Never been known to be a smart person. Even my own mom is always exasperated with my stupidity. :blue:

However, I'm happy the way I am. I don't feel the pressure to outsmart anyone so that my mind can concentrate on the next yummy dessert I'm gonna indulge!

Even though I've stayed in both Hong Kong and Singapore for years, my IQ score ( never tested ) is most probably way way down below 100

Nothing against homeless people but those women in the UK that are on benefits and yet go on to have many more kids with numerous men should have a hysterectomy performed on them
