Yes it would have helped........especially if one had a cutom-made cartoon dinosaur to your child's disposal 24/7. Just ask him a question and pop there comes the answer.......plus and explanation to fit the answer......
Thanks Alainn.......I thought it would be easy, but apparently not. I have spent almost an hour with her yesterday, making her draw line after line, which was a mistake as they get bored quite easily.
Well I would have, but when she spoke to me, she made it quite clear that it was my job to teach her this stuff. I don't mind doing it, but the main reason why I've put her in kindergarten was because I'm working full time and want someone to look after her and ensure that she has no shortcomings whether it be food, friends, education, etc when I'm at work
Thanks Spicey, it makes sense. The thing is , she's only 3 and although she likes to scribble on paper and knows how to hold a pen, I can't expect her to draw a straight line horizontally or vertically, but apparently she's supposed to.
How do you explain to a 3 year old kid what horizontal and vertical looks like and what it means?
According to my daughter's kindergarten teacher, she's supposed to know this already. I have tried to explain it to her last night, but I could see it confused her. Can anyone help me with this?
