Ok when you skip the obvious why people don't have a photo here I have to say I have had some of the best chats with people who have no photo and the opposite is true. Yeh I am attracted to the girl in the photo, I email and bam..... text talk! . On the other hand I have had great conversations with those without photos so I have learned not to judge the book without the cover!
I am a firm believer in reminding myself of what I bring to the party as much as what the other party brings. It's very easy to blame the other person for them not living up to my expectations. Compromise is a two way street and not you compromise so I can have my own way
Strange thing is 38% say it's because we prefer our own company..... So what are you doing on a dating site.? If 4 out of 10 like being single it's an odd place to be, don't you think ?
I think she needs to move on because she is making his problem hers. An alcoholic often has what they call an enabler or facilitator and in some way it sounds like she is his enabler. What would he do if she weren't around? Find another facilitator I would think. Ps you are on to a loser trying to help.
Sure I'm here looking, I'm in a relationship but that doesn't mean it's a happy one.. I do not have a profile picture up for many reasons and not just because I'm seeking company while still in a relationship. I get snotty emails calling me unbelievably names. Maybe I respect others I know and don't wish to embarrass them. I am a kind and caring individual, very tactile and good fun. Doesn't mean my partner is. When I search profiles for woman and tick " in a relationship" as part of the search, most woman in a relationship don't have a profile picture. Are they ugly? Looking for a fling? Do they get hate mail? Why are they on a singles site? Personally I prefer to chat with them. They have their reasons for anonymity and I respect it. Actually it's nice to read between the lines and read the real person. To those who say " no photo, no reply" I say good luck. First impression through a photo tells you little about the person and maybe a lot too.
