i have been on it. Its very creative and fascinating. But too slow to load and complicated at times. So didnt continue. But its definitely very innovative.
Well.. when people divulge personal details.. maybe we feel they shouldnt cos its uncomfortable to others and its not a great idea !!
But maybe they would like to share it with everyone.
What concerns me is that we donot control who is reading our posts .When Compared to the no. of people on the forums actually participating , a lot of them just read or dont involve. So to have your personal details on here for anyone to read is to me quite worrisome. Maybe i am a little extra careful .. but thats how i maintain safety and privacy.
Lets say .. If it is a relationship issue .... it begins from here ... move on to yahoo or MSN when u know its fine .. then probably talk on the phone get more acquainted .. sure meet someday ... and then get to the reality part .. if this is what u want !!!
Cos thats when the real individual is a complete picture with a lot of undertones that yet need to be analysed. We are a complex species
But if its friendship thats the bonding factor i guess it can be a more relaxed approach !!!
This is a good medium to get an idea of what the person might belike .. sometiems more than that.. but relaity is sure different and once u meet things start looking clearer.
Maybe its the involvement with people here for long hours and the deep conversation that sometimes occurs on threads .. it almost makes you feel like u r living in here.
A thin line of divide bwn the real and virtual sometimes. But i would yet say .... each one to his own .. !!!
GoodHeavens !! Picture is bad enough ... videos would be terrible. Knowing a person .. words are enough. The thoughts matter and the actions. The picture can follow and later if you do strike a balance , there is always room for a yahoo or cam chat.
