I'm an alcoholic have been since I was 13. Have had many dry periods in my life. Am currently not drinking, on treatment, have no desire to drink, but there's always the risk of a fall. Booze has ruined my life, even though I enjoyed it for many years despite paying a ridiculously heavy price for the addiction.
