I personally have no problem with mixed races or dating.

My only problem is when there are kids involved. We live in a small town redneck area. I know of a mixed race 4 year old girl who hates to go to preschool because the kids tease her. Kids can be so cruel........

Most people especially older, are set in their family and lives, jobs, house, and don't want to relocate.

Given that you might find the love of your life miles away its not convenient and sometimes not practical financially and time wise, time off job to fly across world or US to meet up.

Not saying it doesn't happen, but most people have ties they don't want to break to go away to another place.

I don't think it's a crutch as much as logistics.

I live in northern michigan and to date someone in southern michigan 4 hours away would be a stretch because of my job.

Make another stipulation that so much must go for new car.

By doing this money is back to the mortgage companies and the automakers thus bailing them out with us enjoying the spoils
