I am a member of a "pay" dating site in France. I've had a few successful meet ups but nothing that has flourished. The odd behaviour - I get visits every day from a variety of women. If I'm attracted by a profile, I often message if the distance element makes a meet practical. Often, there is no reply. It turns out that quite a lot of participants aren't paying which prevents them replying. My question is why use the dating site to visit if there is no chance of any sort of outcome? Some of these women have visited my profile at least a dozen times. The oddest response was from a serial visitor who had eventually paid up. I had sent her a message a couple of months earlier with no response. In the interim she had visited my profile several times and I sent her another message. She replied despite her many visits that my profile didn't match what she was looking for!
