"Oh, thank,God", Mary shouted, " Conrad, how did you know, where I was and what has happened? And what the heck am I doing in Swizzerland? "Within all this exitement nobody seemed to realize, that "el terror di Lagoon" disappeared, no one ever heard of him anymore, btw. "Conrad, " btw, I will never be able to pay for your rescue service team, you know, my husband changed his bank account in Zürich, don't know, where he transfered the millions. Obviously he is dealing with dubious businessmen from the middle east, who try to use maltese mental homes as money-laundering schemes. So the FBI told me." " Well, Mary," Conrad began....
After a while the FBI man returned, blushed and painfully embarrassed. He looked puzzled, the situation got obviously totally out of control. There were too many crazy people involved in this crazy story, ....
Depends on many things, I think. People look at you irritated, if you, as a woman, go out, alone. You might sit the whole evening alone at the table, while people look with compassion(oh, the poor woman). Not only in the region, where I live, although people here are regarded as very sociable. I thought, it was easier for men!
"getting" a sms is "nice", but writing and express feelings is soft and mushy? How poor
Have you ever read love-letters of, for example Napoleon, or Earl Mirabeau, leading mind of the french revolution , for the wife of another Marquis (ok, beside the fact of cheating), or of King Henry to Anna Boleyn (ok, afterwards he killed her), but were they afraid to be "soft and mushy"? Lord Nelson to Lady Hamilton: "I neither can sleep nor eat, because I only think of you, my love, I even don't like Pudding".
SMS and e-mails can't be preserved and be read in a time, when you remember , maybe, when you are old or you're partner is gone. Found love-letters of my parents, and it was so touching! Can't help, but would prefer something hand-written.
When you think of your past or times, when you were in love, were you ever fond of writing or getting love-letters? Was it difficult for you to express your feelings in this way, and how was your reaction of a love-letter, if you were not able to reply? Have you still kept some of these letters?
Actually I loved to write these, and would have been disappointed , if there was no reaction.
Mary was totally confused. She suddely realized, that the woman was dressed in an unusual way, resembling to the way of dresses of the Middle Ages! Also her accent sounded strange! Could it be.... No, Mary thought by herself, that was too weird, I must have a concussion...then she immediately felt sick....
the spouse of the Minister of finance in my country ( although he is not the type of men, I like (but I would get to know all the enormous rich people, who don't pay their taxes here , but it's not really my interest)
The sheik himself, a very impressive person, very black hair, dark eyes with an expression in, which could give women a shiver down the spine, tall, very smart looking in a very special way, with a body in peak condition, dressed in a long whitecoat, under which you could suspect muscles over muscles.... (oops, sorry, I lost the thread), well, this sheik decided to join the party , too. The party started with a huge delicious buffet. In the background an orchestra from Switzerland was the perfect accompaniment for this specialevent. All truckdrivers appeared well dressed in tuxedos. After a while the music stopped and the Sheik, an impressive man, dark eyes (oh, I already told you) went over to the microphone and started ...........
...hang up the phone . Nearly at the same moment the phone rang again and the doctor of the hospital, her son was operated, asked her, whether she would agree, that strange looking men ,dressed as monks, tried to transport her son into a private clinic in the middle-east. Mary nearly got unconscious when suddenly
