RE: What is the problem with Americans and their health ?

From my experience, in this instance the problem doesn't so much lie with the enlisted personnel, but moreso the brass, in my opinion. They are the ones who are 95% more likely to blindly follow orders regardless of whether or not they agree with them.

RE: What is the problem with Americans and their health ?

It's hard to say, really.

As prior-service, I know far better how deceptive and corrupt the government is, at least moreso than a non-veteran. On the other hand, those soldiers that DONT try to fight down a revolt on their own soil will likely be executed for treason in a time of war (because you know, congress would drop the declaration of war in a heartbeat since it threatens THEIR jobs, and their multiple-million dollar salaries.

RE: What is the problem with Americans and their health ?

There's a loophole in just about every part of the constitution/bill of rights, in all reality. Suffice to say, you are free to excercise YOUR rights so long as they do not infringe on the rights of others.

Example:

Say, by some miracle, you get 2-3 million people to revolt - while on the other hand, you still have 150+ million that do not. The smaller group overthrows the government, and guess what - you just infringed on the rights of 150+ million people who think that the government does work.

It's the double-edged sword from hell.

But this is way off topic, so I'm going to step away from this subject now.

RE: What is the problem with Americans and their health ?

Doesn't matter if I'm serious or not, really. Considering, that anyone who even attempts to overthrow our government will be met with harsh resistance from our several millions of soldiers, sailors, and airmen. Even if you could somehow match their numbers, they have alot more firepower at their disposal.

In terms of that constitutional right, I was merely throwing it out there to see if anyone actually knew that it is a constitutional right

Oh, and on a side note - you want free/cheap health care? Join the military.

RE: What is the problem with Americans and their health ?

The problem ISN'T our healthcare.
The problem IS our politicians and corporations.

US politicians seem to have it in their head that they can change things to suit their needs, regardless of whether or not the american public supports it, or not. The same is true with our corporations. It is sad to admit, but I think they are they TRUE problem - because our corporations essentially control our politicians, this is typically due to the fact that those same corporations are the ones who donated multiple millions of dollrs to said politicians, and ultimately puts them in office.

RE: CS viewing statistic

So....what about the other 37.4 % that ISN'T accounted for?

RE: Obama Rocks! Today! the most serious attempt against more wars!

Especially when I can count 5-10 typographical errors in the first paragraph, you essentially lose any and all credibility.
