A guy goes into a bar, sits down and says to the bartender, "I bet you 100 I can take my right eye out of my head, wash it in a shot glass, and put it back into my head?"
The bartender says, "you're on!"
The guy takes out his right eye, washes it in a shot glass and puts it back into his head. He then collects his 100, and leaves the bar.
The guy returns to the bar shortly, sits down and says to the bartender, "I bet you another 100 I can take out my left eye, wash it in a shot glass, and put it back into my head?"
The bartender says you're on!"
The guy takes out his left eye, washes it in a shot glass and puts it back into his head.
The guy collects another 100 from the bartender, leaves the bar, only to return again shortly.
Now the guy says to the bartender, "Bartender, I will give you a chance to win all your money back, plus 100. I bet you 300 I can stand on the bar and peee in that shot glass down there on the end of the bar and not spill a drop?"
The bartender says, "you're on!" The guy gets up on the bar and pees all over the bar. He does not get even one drop in the shot glass.
The bartender says, "HaHa, I won my money back!" The guy says, "HaHaHa, the joke is on you! I just bet that man sitting there at the bar 600 that you would not let me get up on the bar and pee all over it!" From, Willuman
You would think more would be getting said about the reasons for the killing. I saw a movie recently with a guy fishing in a stream. A hook caught him low, just behind his left ear. He removed the hook, held it in front of his face, looked towards the camera and said, "You can run but you can't hide." I somehow connected O**** B** L**** with the FISH in that stream?
I also remembered that time I was in a movie theater in the early eighties in Southern California. My sister took me to see, that movie (forget the title now) about a woman who got herself killed because she was fighting against a big company for polluting the water. So many people in that theater were vocalizing there anger and frustration during the movie, and I felt a little uncomfortable, but not too much because I was on their side. If a real-time documentary was shown in theaters about the Iraq war would people get as angry and as vocal about the killing? Maybe if it were shown to the Iraqese and the families of the Twin Towers victims there would be more people voicing their feelings and opinions about that war.
I have asked several people when they think the war in Iraq will end. Most have said they don't know or in a couple years. I know I am different than most people because I often feel like a person (not a fish) caught in a war zone, hiding, frightened, scared, wondering if or when it will end, and if I will survive. The Iraq war....

According to what I have read in the news the Dutch have taken a step or two backwards becoming more like america with its "war on drugs" that has not and will not work.
Furthermore, tobacco and alcohol are more dangerous tha cannabis.
I agree with your observation that alcohol can be very dangerous when overused.

Mike69spain, you must really visit Amsterdam, Holland. On a weekend evening you should find many people of all races enjoying themselves all around the very popular red light area.

Recently, a couple weeks ago there were denmonstrations in the streets of Moscow by people seeking the legalization of cannabis. News reports said Moscow police dealt with several of the demonstators rather harshly!
Will Russia realize the benefits of copying the Netherlands and it intelligent way of treating people who want to use and market cannabis? Criminalizing it and the people who use it has not worked in n. america.
n. america's lawmakers wastes tax payers money fighting a "war on drugs" that can never be won. Countless people sit in american jails and prisons arrested for possesion of small amounts of cannabis and go back to using it as soon as they are released. Many of them get rearrested as the cycled of wasted law enforcement time and tax payers money continues.
I visited Amsterdam, Holland last March and found it to be a very exciting and stimulating place. The coffee/smoke shops were interesting clean, well stocked and friendly places. I enjoyed spending my money at several of them. One of my favorite purchses was two ties that had pictures of windmills on them. Other things I purchased included a coffee mug for a friend, some insense for another friend, some candy, videos, a black light and a poster. The people working in the shops were happy and smiling. Amsterdam was clean and had many types of delicious foods. The red light district was very interesting and the museums were awesome. Another very cool thing I encountered was a great bunch of German fellas singing as they walked through the city streets. They wore the most interesting hats, and their voices were clear and crisp.
Certainly an area of Moscow could try something like the Netherlands is doing!
