Listen, life has many lessons and this is one of them. Somehow, this was not meant to be. Now, you have to move on. Be yourself, look at things now and plan your next course of action. Don't let this bother your life. Your son needs you and most of all you need yourself. You need yourself to live and you need your self to function. You have the support of a lot of people here while you get yourself together. Give of yourself to help others and it will help ease the pain. I did it and it worked for me. Just try it and see. I was in one. I was in San Diego and she was in Georgia. We made plans to be here together and it just did not work. But, I would do it again because I learned a few things. A plane ticket does wonders and the world has gotten to be a smaller place. To make something like that work, both people must have an open mind and be willing to compromise and change. Those are tough things to do.
You know, my military background motivates me. I have been taught by some very good men that you must give of yourself and see the tasks through to completion. It is that which drives and motivates me. If I see someone in need of help, I give them help also. Old fashioned Marine Corps philosophy.
It seems as though our weather all around the country is going nuts. A tornado hit Atlanta Ga in the last few months and they never get them. Remember the fires in the San Dirgo area in November? I was right in the middle of all that. We still see burned patches of our landscape that flood easily because of all the burned vegetation. I have no way of hoping our weather will ever be normal again. So many people have lost so much from these disasters. Here's to hoping things become normal, but who knows?
