Today, I learned about Brown Recluse Spiders and discovered that they are now resident in the UK. Apparently, the way to distinguish them from other commonly found spiders is to look into their eyes. Yeah, as if that is going to happen. Set flamethrower to incinerate.
The constant use of "Islander" definitely comes across as a jibe and an attempt to provoke. I can live with that if the OP doesn't mind me referring to him as Peter Sutcliffe.
