you know how it is lads, you have card in hand , ready to pounce on withdrawing cash like a Ninja, all planned out like a military operation, problem is, you have dreamer "woman" in front of you , who has spent her time queing just dreaming about shoes, and when her view of the bank machine finally clears, she snaps out of dreaming all flustered, trying to find her card, finds it, must check balance, must check statement, must take hours, must check balance, then finally takes cash, but sadly for military man thats not the end of it, for she must take another age to find her purse, put cash in it, and FINALLY vacate the machine, leaving military man knowing he has to withdraw 20 euro more than intially intended so as he can purchase a gillete fusion razor to get rid of the beard that has appeared in his time waiting :p

I doubt he will retire, a golf career lasts a long time, but his head is all messed up, and its one game you cant play unless you are happy in the head, i do think the excuse he gave for the timing of the interview is sincere, that he is in the middle of therepy and bout to start more of that tommorrow, and i think the fact he is in that therepy, he was in now way fit mentally to answer questions, he looked like a broken man today
Teach him to write each letter individually, in both upper case and lower case, then small words, then numbers, and before we know it, he will be giving us lots of lip on these forums
you are right, you just have to let go of the worry, only thing i will say is different with flying to bus and train, is that you can get off them, were you cant stop and get off the plane, so i think that excentuates peoples fears
well thats what i use to struggle with too, the control factor, now i just say to myself that the pilot does not want to crash just as much as i dont, its not like he has an ejector seat, and if choice arose of me to fly the plane or the pilot to fly the plane, i think i might let the pilot fly it, cos i was out sick the day they taught aeroplane flying in school
Exactly! being rational, i use to say to myself this "ok flying is dangerous, so cant do it, but then driving is far more dangerous, so makes sense to stop doing that then, i cant cycle either cos (bleeding hate cyclists) and its still more dangerous than flying, so i will walk, but hmmm walking is even STILL more dangerous than flying, so i will just stay in my house to be safe..... then a plane crashes into my house and kills me
yeahhh its a defo un-nerving moment, i use to find it worse when he did that over the sea, cos there were no buildings for scale, so you didnt know how close to the water you actually were, but seriously man, it is something you can over come, i know it sounds obvious and cliched, but positive thoughts help ya get over this
