My Mistakes Were Made For You... Last Shadow Puppets
About as subtle as an earthquake, I know My mistakes were made for you
And in the back room of a bad dream, she came And whisked me away, enthused
And it's solid as a rock rolling down a hill The fact is that it probably will hit something On the hazardous terrain
And were just following the flock, round And the inbetween, before we smash to smithereens Like they were, and we scrambled from the grain And its the fame that put words in her mouth She couldnt help, but spit em out Innocence and arrogance intwined In the filthiest of minds
She's was bitten on her birthday, and now A face in the crowd, shes not And i suspect that now, forever the shape She came to escape, its forgot And it's alot to ask and not to sting1 Give her less than everything Around your crooked conscious she will wind
Cos were just following the flock round And the in-between Before we smash to smithereens Like they were, and we scramble from the grain And it's the fame that put words in her mouth She couldnt help, but spit em out Around your crooked conscious she will wind And it's alot to ask and not to sting Giver her less than everything Innocence and arrogance intwined
Look pt can you not see that you're acting exactly the same as those fictional people. You are trying to police the site. Who are you to tell anyone whether they're out of line or not?.Who are you to make accusations? You're just the same as the rest of us not some superior being. I know my opinions don't count in your book because I am silly after all. Just open your eyes man and see. I am not entering in another conflict, I've said all i have to say but am obviously flogging a dead horse
Hi Loopy, A lot of extemely valid points there. Speaking personall, I didn't join CS to cause conflict or alienate people. I came here to make friends and hopefully meet that special someone. Having said that I welcome healthy debate where as you said everyone is entitled to their opinion, gives it and agrees to disagree. I f someone makes a personal attack on me, yes I'll take it as that but otherwise I don't hold grudges.
Manners are something that very few people possess these days. To contact you and to tell you what's what would have been the right and polite thing to do. People (not just men) can be extremely cowardly and that's obviously what happened with him. Don't beat yourself up over it, happens to us all
Well turn that frown upside down & I read it! But to my shame I didn't reply because the brains of the site were out in force & what I had to say would have paled into insignificance...so here I am where I belong on a thread that's light and meaningless
Now Now BG it's about what you boys are wearing ...FOR A CHANGE.. But if you like to dress as Wonderwoman or catwoman and it floats your boat tell us!!!
I don't know, is it an ego thing with them or something? So all their friends will slap them on the back and say "Fair play to ya" because they have the trophy girlfriend. On the other hand younger guys seem to go for older women or is that just a ruse? In other words, do they think we're so desperate that it's a sure thing?. No Mrs Robinson here is my reply
Ah Losty is a Guinness guy so you'd have to keep up with him. He loves a girl who is girly but drinks pints. Geat fun and a great friend, he named me SG. Be prepared though, you'd want danger money to go on the beer with him
Ah now you know boredguy would be over in a flash to Clare in the long red/blue van thjat's slow to start....well if he could follow instructions or remember to get diesel
Hi LM, I find, personally, if people are nice & have something interesting to say (not just a corny one liner ) I generally reply. It breaks the monotony & boredom. It's always nice to make new friends all over. Andi
