Why do most guys want to date WAY younger women ?? (110)

Yes, I agree, nature is wonderful. I also think that dating sites like this are wonderful as a means to meet prospective partners and as a means to make friends. However, I wonder if guys are restricting their chances by specifying much younger women....
I know that when I was 25, I wasn't interested in guys who were 38!! I'm thinking that perhaps guys are deluding themselves... and in the process, missing opportunities to meet with women nearer their own age, who would have more in common with them and be more likely to form long-term friendships/loving relationships with them.

Now, I dont wanna seem ageist or anything, but I just wonder what would a 25 year old have in common with a 38 year old?? I know tastes in music etc are not necessarily age-related but come on guys!!! Surely you are more likely to find common ground with a woman nearer your own age ?

well as a young woman who has had serious relationships with older men, we talked about alot more than music and the 2 most important figures in my life have a 30 year difference so...
... we younger women must have something JMO...............nah not looking for a younger woman.....but anytime I've went out with a girl she's always been younger.... apart from the the obvious attraction element for me ..... younger girls in general seem to be less anger with the world .. an for me a lot more fun ... but to be honest it's the person i go for an no the age......

Good point Harry......I think that men who only want to date much younger women should have a good look at themselves.....are they just desperately trying to hold onto their declining youth? I think so...they tend to be very self centred men who have to reassure themselves on a daily basis that they can still be appealing to younger women....from the young womans point of view its usually his money that does if for her....just look at Peter Stringfellow....can you imagine him working down the docks without the trappings of fame and fortune behind him.. Wonder who he would manage to pull then?????
