This happens to me a lot too woodzchick. Very embarrassing!! Guys will just come up and start chat'n. I have to play like I know'm or just flat out ask them who they are. Gals usually just stare or look a lot. Had a lion get a hold of me 18-19 years ago. Had a guy come up and ask me at my son's wedding last weekend by name if I still had the scares from the lion, I still don't know who he was.
Can you believe it?!?!?? My kids, my family, my friends, (to many sometimes) folks I shoe for, folks I build rustic pieces for, folks around the community.........
I usually do let a lady make the first move or step. When a gal hits on me I usually take it she's be'n nice, courteous, friendly or whatever and don't realize she's interested
