A couple. One seemed to have a multiple personality disorder ( watch out for 40 something gals in long beach, LOL) and the other was a nice gal but no chemistry. I may take up singles groups and meet em first in person over a couple weeks/months and THEN ask them out.
From my dating experiences it seems some people presume that just because a person uses the term "looking for serious", "long term" or "marriage" as a goal it means they will automatically be involved with that person after they meet the first time. When one of the two parties feels the need to end it the other one is left feeling lied to. No, it means they gave it a chance and didn't see the possibility for LTR good. Fact is its about chemistry and it may take a few dates to see if there is enough there to build on. I have been guilty of feeling short changed myself. But also when its there and mutual you are both off and running.
And you CAN find the person here, or any online site. And then maybe not, chemistry has to find you. It cant be forced and its all chance and where you find it is dictated by fate.
She wont aknowledge it. The kids are the ones I feel for since they have to live there. All have tried to get her to seek help, she went to one Dr. and when he told her she had an issue that need attention she got angry and never went back.
Right now I am going to meet up this weekend with a Redheaded Leo from this site. Interested to see if it has the instant sparks like the last one ......Knew each other a week and I proposed.
I was married to a redheaded Leo for 22 years. Passionate both in life,bed and fights. Much more so than any other woman I have known. Great combnation for a Sag. JMHO
If you close the door you may not be open to it if it shows its head again. Think positive and it may happen again in your life. If it doesn't it wasn't meant to happen but you will have had a happier outlook on life. Enjoyed life more and have fewer regrets.
If you find the right person they will help out, participate, want to be part of your life and that includes your kids. I know some people out there want nothing to do with kid of somebody they are dating, but others welcome it and view it as part of the package in a LTR.
Too old? Nope. I know people in their 80s who date. You should never give up. Even if we who are out here do not find that true love again we should not curl up in a corner until we pass away. Dates are still fun, gets you out of the house, in some cases after a few dates maybe release some "tension".
