Feel blessed, ride it's wave...and yes, it can be real and last.
In 1961, my dad was a pilot, and my mom a stewardess (yes, they were still called that then). Mom needed to hop a jump on a flight to get where she wanted to go, so looked over dad's right shoulder to see who the crew were on that flight. He's left-handed, and was signing his name...and without missing a beat, he put his arm around her. When he was done signing he asked her out. They were married 6 months later, in October 1961, and just celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary. Yep. Love at first sight can be very real.

I think someone can be attracted to someone when they first meet them.
But I don't know about loving someone at first site.

My Dad was/is in the luxury yacht trade....
He worked on a yacht as the Chief Marine Engineer in the 60's.
My Mom applied for a job as a stewardess/beautician.
The day my mom arrived he took one look at her as she was
running past to the head (toilet) feeling very motion sick after
a very bad ferry crossing. My Dad took one look at her and said
I am going to marry that girl....
Two months later he took her to Switzerland and put a diamond on
her finger, four months after that they were married.
He worked on a yacht as the Chief Marine Engineer in the 60's.
