I have come across too many from living out in the scrub of the mallee country in SA.
I was out the back of the house one day and spotted a brown down near the wood heap, too close to the house for my liking. So I went back inside and got the shotgun, came back outside and took aim, and....missed. How can you miss anything with a shotgun??

The bloody thing took an instant disliking to being shot at and headed straight for me, in a mad panic I through the damn shotty at it and bolted inside.

One of the highlights of my life was living in Penang, Malaysia.
I was 16 and went to an Aussie school over there. Rather than a normal classroom with four walls and the inevitable blackboard, the classroom was a grass roofed hut with monkeys running rampant and stealing pens, books and everything else they could get their hands' on.
Our house backed onto a jungle and I would often go and visit the locals, spending hours with them, learning their culture and some of the local dialect.

I prefer the right side of the bed which also happens to be closest to the door.I am, however, open to negotiation.
