Sorry to hear about your enforced confinement.I have been reading a lot of your threads on here,and you have a sharp mind so have you ever considered writing.Having no idea about your life and /or its ups and downs,you could start a journal. Failing that pick a theme and see where it leads you.
Know what you mean about big feet.Mind you I'm always putting my foot in it so to speak,but as I've elected to have my eye bags removed ,and we can only opt for 1 free surgery ,I'll have to put up with them, or put them up whichever the case may be.
I was just wondering if any of you had the opportunity to have one treatment of cosmetic surgery free of charge ,would you take up the offer,and what would you have done?
I'll go first,I'd have the bags under my eyes done from too many late nights on C.S.
Don't you think in some cases "we are what we eat".I honestly think that if you have a good healthy diet as in Europe with loads of garlic for the heart and olive oil which helps the skin you will glow anyway. There are lots of things I don't like about myself but have learned to live with them.I think sometimes we spend too much time worrying about how others perceive us.Beauty comes from within.
I can only relate to the first one.I've never used creams or any other product on my face.I stopped using make up when I moved to Spain.If I have a sudden invite I can be ready in 20 minutes.I'm 70 next year and reckon I look ok for a woman of mature years without spending a fortune to enhance myself.None of us can stop the ageing process and expensive creams and potions are just that expensive! All you girls on here are great anyway.
One day a Welshman is shipwrecked and ends up on a desert island with a sheep dog and a sheep.After a few weeks of being stranded, he gets into the habit of sitting on the shore and watching the sunset with his 2 companions.
On one particular balmy night the air was ripe for romance and the Welshman starts looking amorously at the sheep.He leans over and puts his arm round the sheep but the sheepdog growls,ever protective of the sheep.After that they still continue with the sunset walk but with no more cuddling.
A few weeks pass and a beautiful young woman is washed up on the shore in a bad way .The Welshman tenderly cares for her until she too is well enough to join them on their evening walk.Pretty soon the Welshman starts to get romantic urges again.He fights it for as long as he can,but finally realises that he now has an opportunity to give way to his natural urges.

I don't think it was the Op's intention to make her out to be a saint, just in her own way to pay her respects.
Thank you for that.I just wanted to pay respects to another human being.We live in a very harsh and critical world and I wonder how many on here would survive a viewing under a microscope.I for sure wouldnt, and I am certain that some of you have done things in life that you may have regretted.I refuse to add fuel to an ever growing fire by people who just want to vent their spleen as usual. On that note I will wish you all a good and sinfree life!
