I just wanted to say I am back I have been gone for over a year. I took a step away from dating for a little over a year. I am ready to get to know new people again and connect.
I have been on the other side being told I love you and I didn't feel the same for him. I started sabotagging the relationship. Which wasn't fair but, thats what my brain did until I finally broke it off. For me I hadn't even been divorce 2 years yet and was just dating and he was more into it than me.
So I think it all depends on the person and situation. When you say it I think the other person has to feel safe that if they don't feel the same way they can continue the relationship until they are ready to say the same if it is true for them and they are ready.
