RE: Flood in Pakistan.

No, I am not. It was just a comment stating sometimes it is easy to say something let's say from a safe position, I help the way I can, this time it is sending money to people in need, impossible for me to go there. I don't mean to attack anyone or judge anyone's actions. It was just a thought... That sometimes the political bacground seems to cover the humane one.

Still I believe the dirty politics is what make common people suffer.

RE: Flood in Pakistan.

And who, if not us by giving such harmful opinion?

As we should know, these poor people have nothing to do with the politics or the officials' action. My way of thinking is that one should help as much as they can. What I want to say is that people who usually have to pay the price in such situations are not to be blamed for having been born in a place they had. And what I can see here is people lacking the very basic insticts, which is very sad.Politicians, their agreements and good relations with others like them is one thing, but when we see someone in need, shouldn't we think of helping them?

So easy to observe such things from behind the computer screen...

RE: Flood in Pakistan.

Well, what shouldn't be forgotten is we are talking and thinking about people suffering, no politics involved here, just as human beings we should help as much as we can. And the truth is this country has suffered a lot this year. Too many people have lost everything. And these people have nothing to do with 'Politics'.
A great country with a great potential. How come some people here are so insensitive. I can feel it is all about the terrorism issue.

Maybe one can say: 'Ok, but all the terrorists are Muslims'

The reply could be: 'Yes, but not all the Muslims are terrorists'

And just to add, don't make common people pay for the politicians' decisions. We are all equal here...

RE: My daughters 45th Birthday and we spoke for the first time ....

I know it is very personal, but i cannot imagine such a situation at all...A mother and a child apart... Must be like hell...

RE: Bible versus Quran...

I think the Christian religion, despite the crisis of faith as such, has lost something making its way towards the liberal view. Look, we are under the constant attack of the media news announcing the Muslim world has been it trouble and is bringing trouble itself... Is is objective? Why only bad news?

We can take it for granted, but the sixth sense tells me that someone, somwhere is willing to spread such a message... Why is it the case...

It doesn't change anything. My question was : how come some people vote 10 for all the pictures... And it doesn't mean I am shallow. It is just a question. I can still sleep without having a reply. I was just wondering if it was possible there is an option: everyone is 10. What is more, not really the rating, but the reasons people do such thing is interesting. Well, for me. So please, if you don't want to answer just a general question, do not make any comments as to my personal ' rating', as it is not the issue.

It was just a thought... Some people seem to be very 'generous', what is that voting thing for, anyway...?

Hello,
How come, there are certain profiles that always vote : 'ten' for all the members. What is the reason???? Just wondering... Too many possible answers :-) What do you think they can be...

RE: wow. single parents

Sad, sometimes true, but anyway... We should avoid generalisations, even though we can see some 'trends', not necessarily being good examples to follow. One may easily misunderstood or get offended. Each case is unique and different. I can feel, you have been in a 'third wheel situation' and you are angry and upset.
