Hi, it could be that he is a very insecure person, sadly, and you being a nice person and somewhere along the line has touched him deeply, he cant let go for inner reasons and maybe fear of rejection and being alone and is therefore blocking out that you dont want a relationship anymore..sounds like he still has his past issues to deal with which make a huge impact on his future. Been there a few years back, and with absolutely no intention of hurting him, I think he is causing his own hurt.. You have been honest with him, so rest assured, he'll get the message..its a tough one..to be cruel to be kind..patience...just my thoughts..
ditto..the world is a small place really and its all out there for the reaching..people are so fascinating, some good some bad, but hey, we are all unique in our own special way, there are some awesome friendships to be made from all cultures and walks of life..and honesty..if one feels whole inside themselves and happy with whom they are, there is no need to be dishonest, one is actually desceving themselves..live life for the approval of oneself and not for the approval of others, how else could one be happy and whole...just my thoughts..
